"Star"
I was feeling the blues once more so I decided to browse YouTube to drown the loneliness away. This 1968 classic movie, "Star" movie clip caught my attention. Dame Andrews in "Someone to Watch Over Me," doing a stellar performance.
What happened to her voice today is a tragedy. That cyst operation in one of her vocal chords just completely took away everything she worked so hard for all those years. But listening to her singing here is such a joy.
A lot have been said about her but she still remains my Mary Poppins, the one who brings smiles to a weary heart. Her magic won't ever fade away no matter what.
