Today, I join the many who mourn a sight of loss, recasting the painful memories and haunting fears a decade ago that still hover over the aftermath at ground zero of the World Trade Center's twin towers in New York.
Each of us has our own perspective on 9/11, and we have our memories as well as stories of how that day impacted or changed us.
I’ve watched TV specials as well as read articles online, wanting to remember those who suffered, those who lost their lives, and those who sacrificed to try and help. My heart and prayers go out for everyone still suffering from loss of their beloved that day. May all the victims rest in peace.
